This role is responsible for the support and maintenance of TNCI’s systems and infrastructure within the IT department. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, and thrive in a small team environment. The right candidate must be proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2000/2003, Windows XP, and MS Exchange 2003.

Maintenance and Support of TNCI systems

Understanding of Microsoft technologies to necessary equipment to support internal and external facing systems
-
Troubleshooting and resolution of issues relative to systems
-
Management of systems to include Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, physical and virtual environments, storage technologies, backups, Exchange, Symantec Anti-Virus, patch management and thin client deployments

Provide system administration support using Windows server technologies and tools

Support of Microsoft servers, backups, DNS, Active Directory

User account creation in AD and other supported applications

End user support including remote users for terminal and remote access

Support of servers in both physical and virtual environment

Support of storage technologies

Understanding and support of both internal environments and customer facing servers environments

Other duties as assigned by manager

Knowledge of Microsoft networks

Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server 2000/2003, Windows XP, and MS Exchange 2003

DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (including Group Policies)

Terminal Services

Knowledge of SNMP monitoring

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Solid Oral & Written Communication skills

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in system support and maintenance

Telecommunications experience preferred, but not essential
