Job Title: VoIP Product Manager I

SUMMARY
  • Product Management – relating to TNCI’s facilities based product suite, TNCInet Advantage, spanning customer applications as complex as Voice over IP Hosted PBX solutions to applications as simple as Dedicated Internet Access
  • Market Analysis – competitive analysis, sales feedback, agent and regional targeted program analysis
  • Product Development – optimization of internal processes and system development
  • Project Management – tracking of the various initiatives falling within the TNCInet Advantage product suite
  • Sales Support – product support to sales channels
  • Assist team with any on-going projects and initiatives that relate to the TNCInet suite of products

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Product Management
    • Ongoing analysis of relationship opportunities to improve the product offering
    • Ensure product profitability using approved financial models
    • Review of Master Service Agreements for prospective vendor relationships
    • Coordination with the regulatory and legal teams to insure compliance and minimizing exposure
    • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure consistent messaging regarding the product
    • Cost analysis of carrier rate decks
    • Other duties may be assigned
  • Market Analysis
    • Perform ongoing competitive analysis to ensure the TNCInet Advantage product suite is staying in line with demands of the market
    • Track product evolution of directly competing products
    • Manage competitive information in a clear and comprehensive format
  • Product Development
    • Solicit feedback from internal groups on areas for improvement
    • Review customer feedback, through ticketing system, to find areas for improvement
    • Analyze feedback to find solutions to improve the product whether through systems integration or documentation changes
    • Work with internal development teams to alleviate problem areas
  • Sales Support
    • Provide quote and special pricing support
    • Develop collateral to assist agents in selling TNCInet Advantage
    • Management of online collateral, both in public and private online forums
    • Respond to product inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Telecommunications background of at least 2 years preferred
    • Specialization in Voice over IP solutions a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Effectively multi-task, and prioritize various projects and initiatives
  • Training experience a plus
  • Experience interfacing with sales
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of computer applications is required
    • Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio
  • Experience within the following applications a plus:
    • CRM
    • Cisco VPN Client
    • TFTP server
    • Empirix
    • Solarwinds - Orion
    • Interactive Intelligence
      • MIC
      • CIC

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • College degree - preferred
  • Telecommunications Experience (2-5 years)
